The only bad thing about the rain is we don't get a run through. Our first contest is next week for the Stallion Batillion Invitational in Oologah. Oh well at least they will get to play the songs. They sound amazing so far and we are about halfway through the second half.
And we have a future percussionist for the Blue Pride Band.
Well it looks like the Hornets will beat the Dewey Bulldoggers. 1:20,left in the game and it is 70-12. I don't remember the last time we have scored this many times in one game.
Very proud of the way the kids sounded tonight but very disappointed in our fans. It wasn't all just some people who think we don't deserve the same respect as everyone else out there. As an alum of this band that just angers me. Here are some pictures of the kids playing.

Julie here and fellow band wife down here in Durant. My husband is in his 3rd year at Durant and 4th year teaching. Our first was at Velma, Ok and no matter what size school there will always be negative commentators, I hope the kids were able to look past them and do their best no matter what . Congrats on the wins, prayers that the attendees stop dragging their feet and support everyone participating. Hope you guys get high marks at Oologah!
