Well it is contest morning. It is really early on a Saturday that I don't have to work. Today I get to head back towards my stomping grounds in Soith Tulsa. It always makes me miss my friends down there. It makes me almost homesick at time for the Tulsa area and all the good restaurants it has to offer. This is the only contest this year I will get to go to and spend some time with my husband. I haven't really go to know the kids this year. I will update later in the day when I am more awake and my English grammar will make a lot more sense.
The kids did great and I very proud of them. I hope this third place doesn't damper their spirits because we went up against two very good bands today. We have next week in Pryor and then Regionals.
This year is flying by. Once marching season is over there isn't much for me to be involved with. Oh well I will just love the rest of the season.
